We are searching for an amazing seasonal Store Ambassador to join our team in Victoria, BC - so if this sounds like you then read on!

Part-Time Position 

  • Mandatory shifts Friday's & Saturday's
  • Must be available for a minimum of 4 shifts/week
  • 12 - 24 hours/week
  • Potential to expand into a Full-Time position in the Fall
  • Starting wage of $18/hour with opportunity to extend contract at end of term

The Store Ambassador is a public-facing employee on our sales team that works with our other team members to create a welcoming environment for our guests. They work on our sales floor interacting with guests, sharing product information, processing transactions, restocking product and other daily tasks that are a part of the store operations. The Store Ambassador is passionate about sales and excited to engage people. They are the party starter and maintain the stores good vibes!

All of our employees have the opportunity to be a consignor in our space in addition to their role on the floor - if they are an artist or maker with their own product line this can be an additional source of income for them. There is also the opportunity for role promotions, additional contracted work, merit increases and more for our employees. Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits after a 3 month probationary period. The possibilities are endless for those that take the initiative and show the desire to expand their offerings within Good Vibe Space!

Job responsibilities of the Store Ambassador include but are not limited to: 

- creating a warm & welcoming environment in the store for customers

- making each customers experience extra special by creating meaningful connections

- sharing product knowledge with customers 

- assisting customers to find the right product for their needs

- point of sale transactions 

- maintaining cleanliness of store 

- monitoring for and preventing theft  


 Job Requirements & Assets:

- minimum 2+ years of retail or customer service experience

- ability to work legally in Canada

- minimum 2 day/week availability, including at least one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday)

- strong verbal and communication skills

- outgoing and social by nature

- comfortable working with the public in a busy downtown store location

- social media, marketing, event planning or photography skills are an asset

- artistic pursuits of any kind are encouraged
