Hi! My name is Makara Adkins. I am the owner, and co- founder of Good Vibe Space. My passion is inspiring people through art and community!
I was born in British Columbia. My love for art came at a young age. My father was an artist, and encouraged me to pursue art all my life.
In the fall of 2020, the opportunity arose to create something new on lower Johnson street. I felt it was the perfect time to design a space that would have the ability to build a community, and uplift people.
Good Vibe Space is just the beginning of my vision of spreading positivity and creativity with the world!

Chief Operations Manager, Marley has been with Good Vibe Space practically since its inception. We can always count on her, she's a wealth of knowledge for our staff, and by far the most organized. Marley is also the artist behind AndraMay Desgins, a local brand of beautiful and bright hand-painted goods featured in our store and online.

Katie is our store manager and always a ray of sunshine to be around! Originally from New Zealand, Katie moved to Canada in June 2022 chasing adventure and love. Katie is an incredible textile artist and sells her brand Rose & Co in store. Find the most adorable reversible pet & human bandanas, headbands and more next time you visit us.

Aspiring actor and backstock extraordinaire, meet Maya! Maya is a fun-loving gal who appreciates a good skirt. Often modelling for us to help show off all our fun clothes, she is no stranger to being in front of the camera. She hopes to never lose her thrill of performing, hoping to one day make it onto the big screen! Till then you’ll find her dancing away in the store or stopping you to say hello and make you smile.
